Abstract Art | Freedom and Intuition
Passionate about art from early age, even if life has taken me down different paths, I have never abandoned my great passion, which continued alongside my career in the field of fashion retail.
Inspired by everything around me and the sensations I have experienced, my creative process is very free and intuitive. In fact, for me the creation of art has always represented a way to express myself, relax, and free my mind.
The more time passes, the more the desire grows in me to share my work with the aim of helping
others to regain energy and face life with positivity.
In 2019, the Piumaneralab project was born from this need. I started creating work in which I painted motivational phrases on paper in an abstract calligraphic style, using a craft pen made of tin, sumi ink, stain, watercolors, and water.
I received the first requests for commissioned works and created a capsule collection of bookmarks inspired by Japanese omamori for Inchiostro and Paper, an Italian stationary company.
In 2021, I decide to follow my husband and move to Kuala Lumpur. This radical change represented for me a phase of growth and inner introspection that gave me the impetus to focus totally on my art.
Swarming with ideas and with an extreme desire to experiment with mixed techniques and materials, I now create abstract artworks ranging from acrylics, oil, watercolors, inks to collage using useful things recycled from everyday life.
Passionate about graphics, I started taking my first steps in surface design.
Although often dressed in black and white, my artworks are mainly an explosion of colors.
My mission is to convey positivity, strength, and to bring a touch of color into people's lives.
I'll keep updating this section with new creations but go to have a look at the Shop if you would love to see what is available now.
